Geowi Games ("Geowi Games", "we", "us", or "our") develops and publishes casual games and related services for mobile devices, including Android and iOS, and may also make games available on platforms such as Steam and the web.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information in connection with our games, websites, accounts, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Services and through third-party services integrated into them.
By using our Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Where applicable law requires your consent for particular processing activities, we will obtain that consent through the appropriate mechanism.
2. Information We Collect
We collect and process information that is reasonably necessary to operate, secure, measure, improve, and monetize our Services. The information collected depends on the particular game, platform, features you use, and permissions granted on your device.
2.1 Account and Player Information
When you use our account system, we may create or assign a unique player or account identifier to your account.
Depending on the authentication method you choose, your account may be associated with an authentication identifier provided by Apple, Google, email authentication, Kakao, Steam, or another supported authentication provider.
Our Services do not generally require you to provide information such as your real name, postal address, or telephone number merely to use our games.
If an authentication provider provides information to us as part of account authentication, we process the information necessary to establish, authenticate, and maintain your Geowi Games account.
2.2 Device and Technical Information
We and our service providers may process technical information relating to the device and software used to access our Services. Depending on the platform and configuration, this may include:
- unique player or installation identifiers;
- device identifiers, including UDID where applicable;
- advertising identifiers;
- the Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), where applicable and where you have granted the required permission;
- IP address;
- device type and operating system;
- application version;
- platform information; and
- other technical information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.
The availability and use of particular identifiers depends on the platform, device, operating-system settings, applicable permissions, and the configuration of the relevant Services.
2.3 Gameplay and Service Information
We may collect information generated through your use of our Services, such as game scores, leaderboard results, gameplay events, account activity, feature usage, and information relating to the operation of the game.
This information may be associated with your player or account identifier so that we can provide features such as saved progress, leaderboards, account synchronization, fraud prevention, and customer support.
2.4 Firebase Services
We use Google Firebase services to support our games. Depending on the game and platform, these may include Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and, where enabled, Firebase App Check.
Firebase may process information such as device and application information, installation identifiers, IP address, analytics and gameplay events, crash and diagnostic information, and FCM registration tokens used to deliver push notifications.
Firebase services may process information on Google's global infrastructure, including outside the Republic of Korea. The information processed and the applicable processing locations depend on the Firebase service and its configuration.
2.5 AppsFlyer
We use AppsFlyer for attribution, analytics, and marketing measurement. AppsFlyer may process information such as advertising identifiers, device information, IP address, application information, installation identifiers, and events relating to use of our applications.
2.6 Advertising and Unity LevelPlay
Our games may display advertisements through Unity LevelPlay and its advertising partners. These services may process information such as advertising identifiers, device information, IP address, application information, and advertising or interaction events for purposes including delivering advertisements, measuring advertising performance, attribution, and fraud prevention.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information for the following purposes:
- to provide and operate our games and Services;
- to create, maintain, and authenticate accounts;
- to synchronize game progress and account information;
- to operate leaderboards and other competitive features;
- to send push notifications where enabled;
- to detect and prevent cheating, fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity;
- to maintain the security and integrity of our Services;
- to diagnose technical problems and improve reliability;
- to understand how users interact with our games;
- to measure advertising and marketing campaigns;
- to provide and measure advertisements;
- to improve gameplay, features, and user experience;
- to respond to support and privacy requests;
- to comply with applicable legal obligations; and
- to protect our rights, users, and Services.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis for processing personal data, we may rely on one or more of the following legal bases, depending on the circumstances:
- Performance of a contract: where processing is necessary to provide an account, game, or other Service requested by you.
- Legitimate interests: where processing is necessary for purposes such as security, fraud prevention, service improvement, analytics, or protecting our legal rights, provided that our interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
- Consent: where applicable law requires consent, including certain processing involving advertising, tracking, or device identifiers.
- Legal obligations: where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or regulatory requirements.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time using the mechanism provided for the relevant processing activity. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
5. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking Choices
Certain advertising, analytics, and attribution technologies may use advertising identifiers or similar technologies.
On iOS, where required, we request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).
Your device or operating-system settings may also provide controls over advertising identifiers, personalized advertising, tracking, notifications, or similar technologies.
Restricting or denying certain permissions may affect the availability or personalization of some advertising or other features, but you may continue to use the Services where functionality permits.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We may disclose or make information available to service providers and partners where reasonably necessary to operate our Services. These parties may process information on our behalf or, where permitted by applicable law, for their own purposes.
Depending on the Service, these parties may include:
- Supabase, for database hosting, account authentication, and backend services;
- Google Firebase, for push messaging, analytics, crash reporting, and other Firebase services used by the relevant game;
- AppsFlyer, for attribution, analytics, marketing measurement, and fraud prevention;
- Unity LevelPlay and advertising partners, for advertising mediation, advertising delivery, measurement, and related services;
- Apple, Google, Kakao, and Steam, where you choose to authenticate through or otherwise use their respective platforms; and
- other vendors and service providers that we may use from time to time to operate, secure, maintain, or improve the Services.
We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, enforce our agreements, investigate fraud or security incidents, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Geowi Games, our users, or others.
7. Authentication Providers
You may have the option to authenticate using Apple, Google, email, Kakao, Steam, or other authentication providers supported by a particular Service.
When you choose an external authentication provider, that provider may process information according to its own privacy policy and terms. We receive and process the information necessary to authenticate your account and associate that authentication method with your Geowi Games account.
We do not control the privacy practices of third-party authentication providers and recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies.
8. Data Storage and International Transfers
Our primary Geowi Games account and game backend infrastructure is hosted using Supabase in the Republic of Korea.
This does not mean that all information processed in connection with our Services is stored or processed in South Korea.
Our third-party service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you reside and outside the Republic of Korea. For example, Firebase, AppsFlyer, Unity, authentication providers, advertising partners, and other service providers may process information in other jurisdictions.
The location of processing may vary depending on the particular service, provider, platform, and technical configuration.
Where applicable law imposes requirements on international transfers of personal information, we use the transfer mechanisms and safeguards required by that law.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain account functionality, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the service provider involved, and the purpose for which the information was collected.
When personal information is no longer required, we will delete, anonymize, or otherwise securely dispose of it in accordance with applicable law and our data retention practices.
Third-party service providers may retain information according to their own applicable retention policies and contractual arrangements with us.
10. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your Geowi Games account through the account management functionality available within the applicable game.

We may require reasonable information to verify that a deletion request has been made by the account owner or an authorized person. This is intended to prevent unauthorized deletion of another person's account.
When an account is deleted, we will delete personal information associated with the account that we are not required or permitted to retain under applicable law.
Depending on the Service, deletion may result in the permanent loss of game progress, scores, rankings, achievements, and other information associated with the account.
Certain information may be retained where necessary to comply with legal obligations, establish or defend legal claims, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain security records, or otherwise where permitted by applicable law.
Where information has been provided to or is independently processed by a third-party service provider, deletion may be subject to that provider's technical and legal retention requirements. We will take reasonable steps to request deletion where required by applicable law.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information.
These may include the right to:
- request access to personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of your personal information;
- request restriction of certain processing;
- object to certain processing;
- request portability of certain information;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
